In the age of AI, traditional handmade art made by real people who really care is something I believe has become increasingly important and valuable. But custom artwork has a deep expense tradeoff. The price of time, materials, and shipping costs add up.

I offer this custom painting option as a way to combat inaccessibility of handmade art in a time when it’s become increasingly important to own something real. By painting small, I can reduce shipping costs. And by painting expressive, I can pour deeply into one work for a shorter time and capture the heart of a person without sinking hours into the tight rendering.

The base level of this painting option mimics my experience doing oil painting studies in the morning: using the same materials and relative timeframe. The paper is from an ordinary 4×6 scratch pad, and the paints and mediums are quality but painting small reduces material costs. The base level of this option guarantees at least 30 minutes of designated, devoted effort into the painting. These base options allow for an affordable, custom oil painting.

There are other options available as well. Different paper options and the opportunity to add more time into the refinement of the painting.
